I was very glad to see Wes W4JYK finish this reciever. Wes is a member of our local radio club — the Vienna Wireless Society, and is part of the club’s Makers Group.

  1. Beautifuly done! I was wondering if a small variable cap would work for fine-tuning. Question answered.

  2. The variable capacitor goes from 12 pF to 15 pF, approximately 3 pF difference which results in 60 kHz frequency change. That is pretty low on my capacitance meter so the accuracy is in question. Haven’t done the math to see if it makes sense.
