That’s the one I’m using. Less than 1 inch on each side. No back light. 8 bucks shipped:

Understanding the “O” (organic) in OLED

Hello Bill, I have seen these displays before and played with them (btw, you can get them for about $3 already from AliExpress: https://www.aliexpress.com/wholesale?catId=0&initiative_id=SB_20170110084746&SearchText=OLED+display+module ) However, I do wonder about their usability for this type of application. The thing is very tiny! Wouldn’t it be a bit better to have a larger display for your VFO? I.e. something that can be read also from a distance without squinting? There are all sorts of LCD modules available cheaply.
Cool stuff! Now just to find a way to get you and Pete to post your full radio Arduino sketches!
I just use the sketches (programs) of others. In this case of LA3PNA. His work is on GitHub.
Jan: I also use the larger 16X2 display, but I kind of like this small one. Easier to set up. No back light. I2C so only 4 wires total including ground. 73 Bill
