I agree. An otherwise engaging, typically Bill Mearean post which–in my opinion– does a better job than the ARRL can do in offering some insights into various aspects of the hobby, and in particular, to the tinkering and building aspects of it, spawns the usual internet “flame tossing”. Another reason…to not get caught up in that which has little to do with the inviting points raised in the “rant” (as the hack site calls it).
