  1. Not to be totally out there, but I think most of us were pretty darn happy to use H-P equipment. Personally, I am grateful to them for the support the Packard Foundation and family has given the Monterey Bay Aquarium. I am generally not a big fan of zoos and acquaria as attractions, but when I see good work and research alongside an excellent rehabilitation of a historic district, I say Good Job Done.

  2. I notice that like any good ex-student-led startup, they “borrowed” their test equipment from the university. The AC Ammeter in the last photo has a “Stanford Physics Lab” property tag. What a hoot.
