I\u2019ve built a few kits and toyed with some basic circuits, but this is a milestone for me. It wasn\u2019t without some troubles but what an amazing experience. I couldn\u2019t get my oscillator to work and the issue was I tried to make due with two 680pF ceramic caps. I took Dean\u2019s advice to stick with the 330pF silver mica\u2019s and I found my signal. At this point I also broke down and bought an oscilloscope. I now plan to do some mod\u2019s and eventually build a TR switch and pair it with a transmitter. I can\u2019t thank Bill and Dean enough for making this an obtainable goal.
