I caught half of a report on \u201cThe 7:30 Report\u201d on Australia\u2019s public broadcaster ABC TV. Not knowing the full Mawson expedition story, I found this interesting. A conservation group is working to conserve the <\/span>old halfway<\/span> point radio repeater mast and whatever other bits have survived on <\/span>Macquarie Island<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n
