I can remember a time in the United States when it was not unusual to hear someone described as \u201ca great humanitarian\u201d or as having \u201ca great love for mankind.\u201d The plaque we left on the moon says \u201cWe came in peace for all mankind.\u201d You don’t hear much of that talk anymore.
