He notes that W1AW&#8217;s code practice CW is perfect, but that below 18 wpm, they deliberately insert a &#8220;Farnsworth Delay&#8221; that increases the spacing between words &#8212; this complicates automatic CW decoding. <\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Jack also talked about the distinctiveness of different CW operators.
