The researchers there report that the aurora was so bright that it cast shadows.<\/b><\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\"> <b>Yesterday I was having a nice 40 meter SSB contact with N3TDE. Rich is 179 miles away, in Pennsylvania.
