I&#8217;m a big fan of homebrew superhets. And wow, Mike presents a band-imaging superhet! Two bands for (almost) the price of one! I have FIVE homebrew dual-band band-imaging transceivers around me. Believe me, once you have the experience needed to build an SSB transceiver, a dual-bander is the way to go. Five bands seems like a bit too much. This rig will invert the 75 meter signals, but this is easily resolved by just shifting the BFO frequency. I also pointed out that many of today&#8217;s builders will be detered by the need to scrounge for parts.
