This is Clark, VE3BOF, in Hensall, Ontario, Canada.<\/b><\/div>\n
Hensall is located in southwestern Ontario, north of London and a 2 <\/b><\/div>\n
hour drive west of Toronto.<\/b><\/div>\n

Last Sunday night, 2017-10-01, I tuned in to 7277 kHz to listen to <\/b><\/div>\n
the BitX40 net. <\/b>I heard you and 2 or 3 others.<\/b><\/div>\n
Your signal was 5-7, perfectly readable.<\/b><\/div>\n

<\/b><\/div>\n
The receiver I was using is a modified version of the WBR receiver.<\/b><\/div>\n
It is still on the piece of chipboard that I mounted all the modules <\/b><\/div>\n
onto. <\/b>It’s an excellent little regenerative receiver.<\/b><\/div>\n

<\/a><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
In the same state of incompleteness, is a modified version of the <\/b><\/div>\n
Easy Receiver (QRP Kits) <\/b>direct-conversion receiver,<\/b><\/div>\n
I use this receiver for the CW end of the 40M band.<\/b><\/div>\n

<\/b><\/div>\n
<\/a><\/div>\n

<\/b><\/div>\n
Both receivers have been fitted with 10-turn pots for easy tuning, <\/b><\/div>\n
and also lcd frequency counters <\/b>for displays.<\/b><\/div>\n

<\/b><\/div>\n
I’m a former Motorola Communications tech, and used to maintain the <\/b><\/div>\n
radio systems of District 6 <\/b>of the Ontario Provincial Police and our Ministry <\/b><\/div>\n
of Health emergency <\/b>services radio system.<\/b><\/div>\n

Being retired now, I have more time to check Soldersmoke every day <\/b><\/div>\n
and listen to your<\/b><\/div>\n
conversations with Pete, N6QW.<\/b><\/div>\n
