CREAM OF TARTAR – A fine white powder used in cooking. It is the potassium salt <\/span><\/span>Potassium bitartrate<\/span>, KC<\/span>4<\/sub>H<\/span>5<\/sub>O<\/span>6<\/sub>. It is a food stabilizer and is also used in some baking powders.<\/span><\/p>\n
